G Adventures has confirmed that its Jordan programme resumes on August 1, 2026, with 18 departures relaunching across multiple itinerary formats after a three-month suspension. The Canadian operator is one of several international group travel companies that paused Jordan operations earlier in 2026.

What Resumes

The 18 confirmed departures cover G Adventures’ full Jordan portfolio, including:

  • Petra — the Nabataean rock-cut city that remains Jordan’s most-visited site, with entry via the Siq and visits to the Treasury, the Monastery, and the Royal Tombs
  • Wadi Rum — the desert valley used for overnight Bedouin camp experiences, camel treks, and jeep tours
  • Dead Sea — floating at the world’s lowest point, accessible for most itineraries as a half-day add-on from Aqaba or Amman
  • Amman — the capital, including the Roman Citadel, the Amphitheatre, and the downtown area of Rainbow Street
  • Jerash — the best-preserved Roman city in the Middle East, north of Amman

Tour lengths range from G Adventures’ shorter format tours (8 days) up to comprehensive two-week Jordan circuits.
